You receive money to support you during your practical training.

Next
Take your skills and certificates into a career in hospitality.
Every learner starts here. Short chapters, packed with activities, videos and real examples from hotels. You learn by doing, not just reading.
A hotel is much more than somewhere to sleep. Find out what hotels offer, how budget, mid-range and luxury hotels differ and how teams work together to look after guests.
Meet the teams that guests see (front office, housekeeping, restaurants and bars, shops, and conferences and events) and the teams they don’t, like the kitchen and maintenance. See how each one keeps the hotel running.
Learn the nine steps of service, from the first welcome to a warm goodbye, and what a good guest experience looks like.
Practise listening, solving problems and helping guests, using real situations from hotels.
Follow a typical day in a hotel and see how it all fits together.
By the end, you’ll know how hotels work, speak the language of the industry and have a clearer idea of which role could suit you.
